Kay Priestly
Chief Executive Officer
Kay Priestly was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ivanhoe Mines on May 1, 2012. Ms. Priestly previously was a senior executive at Rio Tinto, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of the company's global Copper product group. She joined Rio Tinto in 2006 as Chief Financial Officer at Rio Tinto's Kennecott Utah Copper operations. Ms. Priestly also spent more than 24 years with global professional services firm Arthur Andersen, where she provided tax and consulting services to global companies in the energy and mining sectors and was a member of Andersen's global executive team.
Ms. Priestly is a director of Stone Energy Corporation and previously served as a director of Palabora Mining Company Limited. She was appointed to the Ivanhoe Mines board in February, 2011.
Chris Bateman
Chief Financial Officer
Chris Bateman was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Ivanhoe Mines on May 1, 2012. Mr. Bateman previously was a senior executive of Rio Tinto and served as Chief Financial & Business Development Officer of the company's Diamonds and Minerals product group since 2010. In 2006, Mr. Bateman was appointed Chief Financial Officer at ASX-listed Energy Resources of Australia. Prior to that, he held both commercial and operational roles at Rio Tinto's Kennecott Utah Copper operations. Mr. Bateman also spent eight years at Arthur Andersen's business consulting practice and worked as Financial Planning and Analysis Director at Kaiser Aluminum.
David Woodall
President of Ivanhoe's Gold Operations
David Woodall was appointed President of Ivanhoe's gold operations in 2006. His responsibilities include overseeing the advancement of the Kyzyl Gold Project in Kazakhstan.
Mr. Woodall has more than 22 years experience in operations, mine development, project evaluation and corporate management roles in gold, base metals and iron ore. Prior to joining Ivanhoe Mines, he acquired extensive mine management experience at underground and open-pit mines in Canada, Australia, Fiji and China. Among numerous mine operation assignments, he worked as Mine General Manager at the CSA copper mine in New South Wales, Musselwhite gold mine in Ontario, Canada, the Kanowna Belle gold mine in Western Australia, and the West Angelas iron ore mine. He has worked in senior mine management positions with Robe River, Placer Dome, Sino Gold and WMC Resources.
Beverly A. Bartlett

As Vice President, Corporate Secretary, Ethics and Compliance Officer of Ivanhoe Mines, Beverly Bartlett specializes in the company's corporate compliance and administration. She has wide-ranging international experience in the administration and regulatory compliance of public companies.
Prior to joining Ivanhoe Mines, she held senior administration positions with various Canadian mining companies, including Northgate Exploration and Neptune Resources.

Most recently, he was General Manager Business Development and Chief Financial Officer of Rio Tinto Marine business.
Stewart Beckman
Senior Vice President, Operations and Technical Development
Stewart Beckman was appointed Senior Vice President, Operations and Technical Development of Ivanhoe Mines on May 1, 2012. Mr. Beckman has more than 20 years of experience in the mining and minerals processing industry. Previously, he spent 15 years with Rio Tinto working across a number of product groups in senior leadership, minerals processing, mining operations and project development roles. Most recently Mr. Beckman was Regional General Manager, Technology & Innovation Americas. Prior to joining Rio Tinto, he spent seven years in a variety of operational roles at Placer Dome.
Neville Henwood
Senior Vice President, Legal
Neville Henwood was appointed Senior Vice President, Legal of Ivanhoe Mines on May 1, 2012. Mr. Henwood also serves as General Counsel for Rio Tinto's Copper Group. Mr. Henwood has been with Rio Tinto for six years. Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Counsel for Rio Tinto Procurement and Corporate Counsel and Company Secretary at Energy Resources of Australia. He joined Rio Tinto after more than 20 years in private legal practice.
